Tipping Point presenter Ben Shephard did not seem amused as actor Miles Jupp interrupted him before he finished his question during the show.

Ben asked: "Originating in 1882 and taking place in at least every two years, in which sport does…"

Miles jumped in and said: "The Ashes", which was revealed to be wrong.

An unimpressed Ben replied: "I was going to say Miles, you've gone a prematurely there, I was going to say in which sport do they compete for the Ashes?

"Of course, the answer is cricket."

Miles got a little carried away as he jumped in to answer a question

Kerry Katona jumped in and exclaimed: "I was going to buzz in and say that!"

Ben replied: "Unfortunately for Miles he buzzed in too soon, and went wrong."

A disappointed Miles said: "That is absolutely sick making."

Ben told off Miles for his 'embarrassing mistake'

Ben responded: "Yes it is, and for someone who follows cricket as well, it's a bit embarrassing."

Miles was then given a penalty point as the game quickly moved on.

However, the Balamory actor quickly redeemed himself as he managed to knock off a whopping 15 counters in one go.

Winning himself £1,000, Miles was thrilled with the huge hit as both Ben and his teammates congratulated him.

However, it was Atomic Kitten singer and TV presenter Kerry Katona who ended up winning the show, as she headed into the final to win some money for charity.

She left fans baffled as she started off by only putting one counter down on a science question, as they shared their opinions on social media.

One posted: "1 counter what is the point. You might as well of gone for 3 for what it's worth."

Another added: "**sees Kerry Katona go for a 1 point question & rushes to #tippingpoint for the reaction."

Tipping Point continues on Monday at 4pm on ITV.
