Former Doctor Who star Billie Piper has appeared in the longest solo sex scene ever seen on British TV.
In Sky Atlantic's I Hate Suzie her randy character pleasures herself for seven minutes and four seconds while fantasising over men and women.
Billie, 37, is seen rolling around on a bed pulling animated expressions.
In one shocking moment in the X-rated scene her character takes batteries out of her son’s robot toy and then uses a sex toy.
A source close to Billie told The Sun: "It’s not often women are shown on telly enjoying themselves, well, solo. So frankly it makes a refreshing change to see such a long and animated scene like this one."
In the show Billie plays the role of a former child celebrity turned actor whose phone had been hacked.
It's based the iCloud hack scandal in 2014 in which celebrities iCloud accounts were hacked.
Billie co-wrote I Hate Suzie with award-winning playwright Lucy Prebble.
The source added: "Billie co-wrote the series and was determined to show women doing it for themselves."
Speaking about the 2014 iCloud hack scandal, she said: "I don't know what that's like (having pictures stolen), but I certainly know what it means to live your life publicly.
It's not the first time Billie has played steamy roles.
She played an escort in drama series Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, between 2007 and 2011.
Billie become the youngest singer to debut at number one on the UK Singles Chart with her hit Because We Want To.
The singer went on to have three number-one singles and two top ten albums before officially hanging up her microphone and turning to stage and screen in 2003.
She said at the time: "I've done that since I was 14."
In a heartbreaking admission in her 2006 autobiography Growing Pains, mum-of-three Billie opened up on her struggles with anorexia.
She told during her battle, she would often eat tissues and punch herself in the stomach to make her hunger go away.
I Hate Suzie is available to watch on Sky Atlantic and Now TV.
