Jordan North came in second place during the nail-biting I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! final.

The 30-year-old BBC Radio 1 presenter was tipped to win the show and be crowned King Of the Castle on Friday night, but Giovanna Fletcher was voted the winner.

The Northerner has been a firm favourite among fans since the start as he faced his fears with gruesome trials throughout the show.

He was the bookies favourite to win after he won the hearts of the nation with his hilarious one-liners and caring persona.

Some viewers were saddened that Jordan wasn't crowned King of the Castle.

"Absolutely smashed it, what a journey. True winner in my eyes."

Another penned: "I don't care what anyone says Jordan is my winner."

However, viewers were thrilled to see Giovanna victorious, and they showered her with messages of congratulations.

A fan tweeted: "Sooo happy Giovanna won!!!

"Thoroughly deserved it!"

"Giovanna was the deserved winner", gushed another viewer.

Bookies offered odds of just 5/6 that Jordan would be victorious.

They believed Giovanna Fletcher had a 6/4 shot in being crowned Queen of the Jungle, while Vernon Kay's odds were at 13/2.

Jordan was actually sick before the abseiling challenge in the first episode of the series.

The ten campmates were split into two teams, and Jordan's group were tasked with abseiling town the side of a high cliff to retrieve the celebrities luggage.

Jordan was sick as he was terrified of heights, but the brave broadcaster still went ahead and completed the trial, despite being petrified.

After that, Jordan was voted to do a vast array of trials as viewers loved to see him squirm during the terrifying challenges.

One of the most memorable I'm a Celeb moments was arguably when Jordan was left in tears as he was faced with his biggest fear- snakes.

He was voted to do the first official trial alongside EastEnders star Shane Richie and the channenge was called The Viper Vault.

As hosts Ant and Dec explained the trial, a nervous Jordan looked more and more anxious, and he began signing and looking around.

Claustrophobic and terrified of snakes, it seemed the trial was the DJ's worst nightmare.

When asked how he was feeling, he admitted: "I genuinely... I don't think I've ever been this scared in my entire life, genuinely.

"I don't like flying and I feel nervous when I got an an aeroplane, but this..."

Jordan managed to face his fears and complete the trial, and it seemed going to his 'happy place' really helped.

When things became too much, the football fan chanted repeatedly 'Happy place Turf Moor'
