The Chase is known for its quickfire rounds and terrifying professional quizzers but little is known about what happens when the cameras stop rolling.
Rachel Warwick featured in an episode of the hit ITV show which was broadcasted to the nation on October 5, 2020.
But, the quizzing enthusiast revealed that her episode was actually filmed two years before it was shown to the nation.
Taking to her TikTok channel which boasts 2782 followers, she opened up about the famous commercial breaks and things that are cut from the edit.
Her video which has been viewed over 208,100 times went into detail about interacting with host Bradley Walsh and her interaction with Paul Sinha.
"Bradley is lovely, you don't get to talk to him that much before and after filming but when I did get to speak to him he is so nice and just as nice as he is on TV," she said.
Addressing the build-up to finding out which brainy Chaser the contestants will be facing, Rachel added: "You don't find out who your chaser is until the moment they come out so all the reactions are genuine.
"Even Bradley doesn't know who your chaser will be so that's quite exciting."
She went on to answer a question, asking whether she was able to sit in the audience after being "caught" but sadly, she revealed that there is in fact, no members of the public in the studio.
To ensure that hair and make-up remains in pristine condition, Rachel said: "You show up to the studio with your hair and make-up done and then the make-up team touch it up later in the day.
"And you bring five outfits with you that you're happy to wear and then the costume department pick the best one and make sure nobody is clashing. They decide what you wear."
Speaking about the application process, the brunette revealed: "I applied in September 2018, had the audition in October, filmed the episode in December and it only just aired in October 2020."
While The Chasers are known for their incredible brains, they too sometimes find it difficult to answer the questions asked by Bradley.
After being asked by one viewer if she was eventually caught, Rachel replied: "Unfortunately so, but even Paul said my questions were really hard!
"They edited that out of the episode though."
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
