The Chase 's new addition Darragh "The Menace" Ennis has revealed what makes him such a lethal Chaser, after joining the ITV show.
Darragh was unveiled as the new Chaser alongside the regular brainiacs after initially appearing on the show as a contestant.
But speaking on Lorraine on Friday morning, he revealed exactly why he's a force to be reckoned with against hopeful players.
He said: "I can memorise things really easy, sometimes without even knowing I'm doing it!"
Despite being a fresh face on the show, Darragh confessed he hasn't been feeling the nerves and has his own way to get in the zone.
He explained: "Not for me, I don't get stage fright. It's not something I've ever got.
"I do a little bouncy dance as I wait to go out."
Speaking of his new television gig, Darragh said: "It's brilliant, I absolutely love this job.
"The big advantage I've had is, I've been both sides and I know what it's like, and it makes me a bit sympathetic to the contestants."
Darragh joins the show alongside Mark "The Beast" Labbett, Anne "The Governess" Hegerty, Shaun "The Dark Destroyer" Wallace, Paul "The Sinnerman" Sinha and Jenny "The Vixen" Ryan.
The Chasers are often very vocal when they lose to contestants and sometimes act out – but Darragh said things don't get too heated backstage.
"It's competitive between us," he said, "but it's friendly.
"Anything Mark is involved with is competitive!"
During Thursday's episode of The Chase, Darragh proved his chops when he beat the episode's contestants with just seconds to spare in his debut.
He managed to beat the two remaining contestants home with no money with just seven seconds left on the clock.
Darragh said: "I'm a little bit relieved because it looked for a minute there that I might not be able to catch them."
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV, while The Chase airs at 5pm
