James lost out against The Governess as he showed off his knowledge

James gave his turn on the show a good go as he went up against Anne Hegerty, aka the Governess, in a tense stand-off.

His team backed him against the legendary quizzer as he "knowledge that they didn’t".

However, poor James has to throw the towel in as Anne sent him him home in a nail-bitting face-off, thrilling viewers at home.

Meanwhile, viewers have also noticed the changes the show has made to the format amidst the pandemic, in a bid to stick to social distancing guidelines.

They spotted that the contestants' table has been extended and the contestants were separated by perspex screens, and were also being kept a metre apart.

Bradley also stayed social distant from the players during their head to heads, and was no longer shaking their hands like he would normally do.

The Chase continues tonight at 5pm on ITV.
