Coronation Street's Geoff Metcalfe was up to his old tricks again on during Wednesday's visit to Weatherfield.
The evil character made his presence known after ruining Sally Metcalfe's garden party.
Debbie Webster was on a mission to manipulate Sally into selling number 4 and paid a visit to her former sister-in-law in order to put her evil plan in place.
While at Sally and Tim's home, Debbie complimented their chiminea, and suggested that the couple threw a garden party to show off the ornament.
However, the celebration was anything but a joyous event.
Unwelcome visitor Geoff arrived to spoil the party and smashed up Sally's chiminea with a spade.
Tim furiously tried to stop his father causing any serious harm but Geoff coldly told his son to "finish him off" with the garden object.
Viewers at home rushed to their keyboards to discuss the Metcalfe father and son spat with some urging Tim to get rid of his son for good.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Wish Tim would just finish him off, this Geoff story line is boring now."
Another added: "It'd be good if the next episode starts with Tim holding Geoff's severed head aloft in victory."
A third persons said: "Please Tim wrap Geoff around the head with that shovel."
While a fourth posted: "We all actually want Tim nice but dim to hit this grotesque thing with the spade."
Geoff was determined to wreak havoc and he interrupted the party, and played loud music at his home next door.
In an effort to cause trouble, Debbie encouraged Tim not to stand for such a thing, and thus the young man drenched his dancing dad in water.
Delighted that her plan was taking form, Debbie then headed round to see Geoff, and manipulated him into taking action by informing him that Sally had been saying all sorts about him.
Therefore, the evil abuser invaded his son’s garden and smashed up Sally’s chiminea with a spade.
Tim berated him, but a fuming Geoff informed his son that he’d hurt him, and therefore he should finish the job by killing him.
The evil man then handed Tim the spade, ordering him to "do it".
Coronation Street continues on Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV
