Below are some of next week's juiciest spoilers – with some surprises in store.
Disaster strikes Weatherfield
David Platt is left terrified when he takes the kids to the park, leaving them in Shona Ramsey's care, only for little Lily to end up in danger.
Later, he tells his sister, Sarah Platt, he fears Shona will never return to her normal self, desperately seeking his sister's help.
However, when Shona catches wind of David's dissatisfaction, she starts making plans to leave Weatherfield.
Hoping to show Shona his true feelings, David organises a barbecue for all of their nearest and dearest in the back garden.
Unfortunately, disaster strikes when a huge crater appears in the lawn, and an engineer advises the family will need to move to a hotel.
Shona is thrilled when Roy Cropper sets them up as a family in a nearby hotel, the house proven unstable thanks to the appearance of the sinkhole.
Could this be a chance for Shona and David to finally reconnect?
Sally turns detective
While Geoff continues to convince Tim of his innocence, Sally makes a plan to track down some evidence against him.
Convincing Faye Metcalfe she needs to pick up one of Yasmeen's books, she sneaks into Geoff's home and nicks his laptop.
She manages to stuff the computer in her bag just as Geoff arrives at the door, leaving Sally to spin a yarn about finding a book.
Later, Sally tries to access the CCTV footage on the laptop, hoping to find a way to dig up the deleted content.
Meanwhile, the police arrive at Geoff's house, demanding he answer some questions as new information comes to light.
Has Sally discovered some incriminating evidence against Geoff?
Tim sees the light
Finally having accepted his father has been lying to him, Tim starts to fear for his mother's safety.
Resolving to find Elaine, he travels to Bolton, only to realise her home is empty, with stacks of letters piled at the door.
Returning to Weatherfield, he confides in Sally that Elaine hasn't been home, fearing Geoff has done something terrible.
Later, he apologises to Alya Nazir for siding with his father, realising Yasmeen Nazir is the innocent party in the sordid turn of events.
Can Tim help to free Yasmeen from a life in prison?
Asha leaves her family outraged
Everyone starts to panic as Dev Alahan shows an estate agent around the kebab shop, making it clear his money troubles have escalated.
His stress-levels go through the roof when Dev catches Asha snogging Corey in the ginnel – just months after the cruel teen shared her nude video.
Nina Lucas tries to persuade Asha she can do better than Corey, though her advice falls on deaf ears.
Asha starts to fear she is the reason behind her dad's money problems, as her pricey school fees have left him strapped for cash.
Later, Aadi Alahan realises his sister Asha has snuck Corey into the house, and ring Dev to let him know what he witnessed.
Furious, Dev returns home and slams Corey, forbidding Asha from meeting up with the sleazy teen.
Will Asha does as she is told, or could it drive a wedge through the family?
Leanne's hopes are dashed
Desperately trying to cheer the family up, Nick Tilsley, Leanne Battersby and Steve McDonald plan to travel to Cornwall for a mini-break.
Unfortunately, Oliver's seizure alarm rings in a moment of terror, and the family are forced to rush to the hospital.
As Nick and Leanne wait nervously outside the ward, Natasha Blakeman – Nick's ex – appears in the hallway, revealing she is there for a dermatology appointment.
Later, Leanne is heartbroken to learn that little Oliver has been moved to intensive care and put on life support.
She remains hopeful, begging the others to think positively, but Nick and Steve start for fear the worst.
Can Oliver survive as his health continues to decline?
