Leanne reaches a hurdle
Starting to process her son's diagnosis, Leanne orders a specially adapted chair for little Ollie and tells Toyah Battersby she has started looking for special schools for him to attend.
However, a chance encounter with an old friend from her antenatal class sets her back, as pal Mandy asks after Ollie.
Unable to admit he is suffering from an incurable form of mitochondrial disease, Leanne lies and pretends everything is fine.
Later, she tells Toyah what happened, leaving her devastated for her heartbroken sister.
Leanne then urges Toyah to go through with the fostering process, determined to bring some light into their lives as they deal with their sadness.
How will Leanne cope when Toyah welcomes a new child into her family?
Gary leaves as Sarah's marriage crumbles
Sarah visits Gary in the hospital after the accident, where he begs her to keep their earlier confrontation a secret.
His suspicions raised, Adam quizzes Sarah about the hospital visit, only for the police interrupt their conversation as they arrive to question her about the accident.
Later, his concerns double as he learns Sarah bought the watch with the "Rick" inscription, which would have incriminated Gary.
When Gary decides against hiking up the rent in the factory, Sarah initially fears it is a bribe, but he assures her otherwise.
Due to their money troubles, Maria Connor is concerned when she learns Gary didn't increase the rent and asks him whether he still has feelings for Sarah.
Leaving Weatherfield behind, the gangster leaves a number of envelopes with the names Maria, Izzy and Nicola written on each one.
Meanwhile, Adam learns about the factory rent from whispers on the street but is left feeling suspicious when Sarah fails to mention it to him.
Are Sarah and Gary developing feelings for one another?
Geoff turns Tim against Sally
Elaine strikes up a conversation with Sally in the cafe, explaining she is Tim's real mum and asking for her help to get through to him.
Later, Sally Metcalfe begs Tim to see things from Elaine and Yasmeen's perspective, exposing Geoff as the liar and abuser he is.
While he refuses to listen, it's clear her words have made an impact, as he wonders whether his dad is telling the truth.
After Sally confronts Geoff, he tells Tim that Elaine has been selling him lies and insists Tessa Metcalfe is his real mum.
Desperate for her hubby-to-be to see sense, Sally asks Tim to open his eyes and see Geoff for the bully he is.
However, Tim refuses to choose between Sally and his dad, and bans her from speaking about Geoff again.
Later, he rips up Elaine's phone number, making it clear he has decided to side with Geoff.
Can Sally and Tim ever mend their broken trust?
Elaine goes missing
When she heads off down the street in search of Tim's workplace, the cabbie's, Elaine is petrified when Geoff approaches her.
After a terse head-to-head – in which Geoff is seen shouting at Elaine – she suddenly disappears.
Alya starts to worry when she realises Elaine has vanished and takes matters into her own hands by reporting her as missing person in the police station.
When Faye confronts Geoff and asks who he was arguing with, he insists Elaine is unhinged and claims his first wife died.
Later, when he tries to get into the restaurant, Alya refuses him entry and threatens him with a broom, fearing for Elaine's life.
Geoff eventually confesses he had a spat with Elaine but insists he simply asked her to leave him alone.
Is Elaine's life in danger?

Not thinking straight, Gemma Winter puts her foot in it and says she would be heartbroken if she was ever separated from the quads.
Abi runs away from the situation, upset about the twins' impending move.
Later, Gemma approaches her and apologises, explaining that she had spoken without thinking.
Through tears, Abi accepts the apology, revealing she is trying to be selfless in letting the twins go without her.
