Emmerdale beauty Sammy Winward sent her followers into meltdown as she showed off a brand new hairstyle on her Instagram page during the second lockdown.

Sammy, 35, looked gorgeous as she posed for a snap in her car as she headed out for the day, sending her fans wild.

She looked totally different as she showed off a new block fringe, ditching her long bangs which were styled into a middle parting.

Flaunting her new white blonde hair which fell into waves around her shoulder, Sammy looked gorgeous as she struck a pose for the camera.

She finished the look off with a fluffy brown fleece coat, looking seriously glamorous as she ran her fingers through her hair.

She captioned the snap: "Fringe just in time for lockdown, so in other words, wont be able to see in about 4 minutes."

Unsurprisingly, it didn't take long for the compliments to come pouring in for Sammy's new look as fans gushed over her transformation.

Sammy left her role as Katie Sugden back in 2015

She had her daughter in 2005 with her then-fiancé, footballer David Dunn.

As the two blondes posed for a snap together, fans couldn't believe how similar they looked as they said they looked like twins.

One posted: "You could literally be sisters. You still look like an 18 year old Sammy."

Another added: "Double... beautiful."

A third chipped in: "You both look like twins."

Sammy left Emmerdale back in 2015 after she was killed off by her ex Robert Sugden after being pushed through floorboards.

Emmerdale continues on Wednesday at 7pm on ITV.
