Emmerdale actor Kris Mochrie has revealed he is "gutted" after thieves smashed through his car window and robbed his laptop.
The soap star, 34, who played villain Lee Posner on the soap until he was killed off last October, shared a photo of the incident on Instagram Stories, branding the culprits as "scumbags".
Taken at night, the photo showed shards of glass crumbling around a car window, which had been broken through completely by thieves.
In his caption, Kris wrote: "My laptop was in a bag in the boot for an hour and some scumbags did this."
He added: "Gutted! Be careful guys x"
Thankfully, the actor cheered up hours later, saying, "however, this has made my day," after learning a rare rhino had been born at Chester Zoo.
Kris made headlines earlier this year when it was revealed he was dating his onscreen brother – fellow Emmerdale star Max Parker, who plays Luke Posner.
The pair went official with their relationship during the summertime, sharing snaps from the poolside and posing for sweet couples photos together.
Discussing their romance in an interview with The Mirror in September, Kris said: It's great to meet someone through work and have so many things in common and an understanding of each other's jobs.
'We didn't actually share any scenes together on Emmerdale but kept in touch after I left."
He added: "I don't want to jinx things. We are seeing how we get on. We had a great time on holiday in Dubai. Let's see how it goes."
Lee's storyline on Emmerdale was a haunting one, which saw Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) fall pregnant after he raped her.
Due to a lack of evidence, Lee could not be convicted of the crime, leading Victoria's brother to seek revenge himself.
His time on the soap ended when Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) murdered Lee to avenge his sister's assault, hitting him over the head with a shovel.
Robert is now serving time behind bars for the murder, and Victoria has started a relationship with Lee's brother Luke, who is determined to prove he is nothing like his criminal brother.
