Conversation on the ITV show today turned to Ranvir Singh, who appears on the cover of the new issue of Woman & Home.
Susanna complimented the soon-to-be Strictly dancer too, but Piers quipped: "Beautifully airbrushed, well done Ranvir."
Speaking of her recent training regime, Ranvir, 43, said: "I've started doing a bit of running and I did a bit of HIIT training the other day."
However rather than discussing fitness or how Ranvir was getting ready for Strictly, Piers instead focussed on the magazine interview.
In it, the ITV star spoke of Piers, saying he's "97% the same in real life" and "3% softer" off-screen.
Flicking through the magazine, he told his co-star: "Ooh Ranvir, I'm liking this!"
It turned out that Ranvir hadn't mentioned her other Good Morning Britain pals in the interview, just Piers.
And that only increased Piers' ego, as he joked: "Nobody remembers Frank Sinatra's band."
Susanna asked him: "Are we just your backing singers?"
As well as share banter with Ranvir, Susanna also mentioned Piers' "slimmer" frame.
The duo were introducing the day's episode, explaining that outdoors expert Bear Grylls would be on later to give tips on shifting any extra lockdown weight.
Piers, 55, was quick to jab Susanna, 49, telling her that she should listen up, however she complimented him instead of hitting back.
She told him: "You're looking slimmer, how's it going?"
Piers replied: "I'm just shovelling less in my mouth. I haven't had cheese in a week, the sacrifice is real. I'm down to a glass of wine a night."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
