Gogglebox has been one of the nation's favourite TV shows since its debut in 2013, hitting our screens every Friday night.
Over the years, viewers have grown to love the families appearing on the show, as they take to their sofas each week to digest the best telly on offer.
However, while many families have appeared on the series over the past seven years, others have decided to leave the show behind, much to viewers' disappointment.
Stars such as beloved grandparents Leon and June, and posh B&B owners Steph and Dom have come and gone over the years, having made their mark on the show.
Below we take a look at the Gogglebox families who have left the show, for a whole host of reasons.
Sandi and Sandra
Best pals Sandi and Sandra had an infectious sense of humour, warming viewers' hearts with their banter on the show every week.
However, Sandi Bogle decided to leave the show in 2016 to pursue new opportunities, leaving Sandra with a decision to make.
Even though she tried to do the series with her daughter, her BFF Sandra Martin followed suit and quit a few months later, admitting it was "time" to "move on to other things".
Explaining her decision on This Morning, she said: "Sandi left last year as everyone knows, she's my TV partner, and my daughter came on after.
"I want to pursue my career to do other things, Sandi had gone before, but it wouldn't have been the same with my daughter.
"There are certain subjects that I can't discuss with a 24-year-old."
Josh Tapper was the first of the Tapper family to bid farewell to the series, leaving after he got a job in politics, working in the Government Communications Apprenticeship scheme.
Explaining his decision, he said: "The option to go back is always there but I want to move away from that and the focus is now very much on my job.
Of course, I miss it and the sitting on the couch watching TV. But I am more focused on my future... it's a more a secure path."
His sister Amy quit the series in 2018, leaving to work on a rival Channel 4 show, Celebs Go Dating.
The 20-year-old also appeared with her dad on Celebrity Coach Trip, leaving viewers in stitches with their bickering as they travelled through Europe on a crowded bus.
Arguably the most famous Gogglebox star of all time, Scarlett Moffatt became a national treasure when her family appeared on the show in 2014.
Her cracking one-liners and no-nonsense feedback to the week's television left viewers in stitches – and inspired a hugely successful spin-off career.
The 29-year-old went on to win I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and landed presenting stints and a book deal.
Once Scarlett left the show, her mum and dad decided they couldn't do the series without her.
Even Scarlett was devastated by their decision to leave, as she told one fan: "We are gutted too, thought my Mam and dad (and little Ava) would still be doing it but we will still be watching #Gogglebox."
Steph and Dom
Posh couple Steph and Dom were fan favourites on Gogglebox for years, beloved for their glasses of wine and witty commentary.
However, the duo decided to part ways with the series in 2016, admitting they felt they couldn't bring anything further to the show.
The couple told The Sun: "We think it's important that everyone gets their chance to be on Gogglebox and give their opinion, and having been on it from the beginning we felt like we'd pretty much said all we needed to say, and we knew what we were going to say."
Thankfully, since then, the duo have made appearances on other shows such as Stand Up To Cancer and Celebrity Masterchef.
Leon and June
Gogglebox fans were heartbroken to learn Leon Bernicoff had passed away aged 83 in 2017, after four years on the show.
Leon and his wife June captured viewers' hearts with their armchair set-up and sweet conversations on the show, chatting from their Liverpool home.
June left the show after her husband's death, explaining she couldn't take part in the series without Leon by her side.
Sadly, June died on May 5 of this year after battling a short illness, leaving viewers and the Channel 4 team devastated.
A statement issued by the series read: "As the first couple to be cast for Gogglebox back in 2013, June and her husband Leon were a huge part of the programme's success.
"Their warmth, wit and contrasting personalities endeared them to the nation during the course of the first 10 series.
A remarkably independent, principled woman with a vivacious sense of humour and a huge passion for life, June will be dearly missed by the entire Gogglebox family, cast and crew.
"Despite her departure from the show in 2017, she remained a passionate supporter of the programme, watching it every week, and she was in regular contact with the production team."
While some of the Woerdenweber family remained on the show, one beloved family member – fondly nicknamed Silent Jay – left the series suddenly.
Appearing as the boyfriend of Eve Woerdenweber, Jay Makin quit the show after the couple broke up in 2015.
He was best remembered for rarely opening his mouth during the show, though he maintains he is more chatty in real life.
Since then, both Eve and Jay have moved on, with Eve revealing earlier this year she is engaged to her long-term beau Josh.
Breaking the news over Insta, she gushed: "I was proposed to in Venice and I said yes to my lovely fiancé.
"I love you sweetheart."
According to reports, Jay works in a bar in Liverpool and is happily in a relationship with a girlfriend of his own.
Chris Butland-Steed and his boyfriend Stephen Webb were a favourite part of the series from day one, even continuing to film together after their split.
However, in 2018, Chris decided his time on Gogglebox had come to an end, as he left the series to pursue new opportunities.
He explained: "I'd like to announce I've decided to leave Gogglebox and am looking forward to the exciting adventures that lay ahead! Huge thanks to @C4Gogglebox @Channel4 for the amazing experiences I've had & wish cast & crew well. Massive thanks to the fans for their support! #watchthisspace."
Since his exit, Chris has gone on to marry his new partner Tony, with the two regularly sharing adorable couple photos over social media.
Stephen remains on the show, joined by his hubby Daniel Lustig on the sofa as they offer hilarious commentary on everything from news programmes to Netflix originals.
