Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford admitted that after he lost his virginity, he asked the girl he'd had sex with if she wanted to go and get a McFlurry.

The 26-year-old television star is beloved by many for his hilarious one-liners and banter with his equally funny sister Sophie.

During Friday's hilarious episode of the Channel 4 show, Pete said he asked a girl for a McFlurry after they slept together for the first time.

He made the remark while the Gogglebox cast watched Naked Attraction, which saw Brian, a 23-year-old virgin, walk off the show after being overwhelmed by the number of naked women in the room.

Pete said: "When I lost my virginity it was that awkward afterwards, I went: 'Do you want to go get a McFlurry?'"

Viewers went into hysterics over Pete's hysterical comment, and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One said: "'Do you want to go and get a McFlurry' OMG Pete," with four laughing emojis.

While another added: "Peter's narration of intimate relations is PHD material! 'Was it good for you?', 'no', 'ok', 'wanna get a McFlurry?' I'm doneeeee[sic]".

Pete's current girlfriend is called Paige, but it did not appear she was the girl he was talking about in the McFlurry story.

Tonight's episode of the iconic Channel 4 show was late broadcasting due to the rugby.

Viewers were fuming as the Live International Rugby Union ran over into Gogglebox's time slot.

Despite it only being just under five minutes late, angry Gogglebox fans rushed to Twitter to air their frustration.

One viewer of the reality show tweeted: "Can someone tell Channel 4 that nobody gives a f*** about rugby? Get Gogglebox on please and leave sports to the sports channels."

While another wrote: "Can we turn this rugby off it’s cutting into my Gogglebox time."

"Where the f*** is Gogglebox?" questioned a third.

Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4.
