Googlebox star Stephen Webb has taken to social media to show off his dramatic new look.

The Channel 4 favourite has shaved off all his hair and shared the moment on Instagram with his 101,000 followers.

Stephen's decision to get rid of his locks comes hours after some viewers. Compared him to Coronation Street legend Ken Barlow, who is played by Bill Roache.

He uploaded a short clip of him taking the clippers to his tresses onto his Instagram grid alongside a picture of the final result.

Stephen quipped as he underwent the hair transformation "doing a Britney".

Unsurprisingly, Stephen's new look caught the attention of his adoring fans, with rushed to leave a positive message in the comment section.

One fan gushed: "Oh wow, you look fab."

Another added: "You are the only person I know who keeps looking younger and younger during the various lockdowns."

While a third posted: "Makes you look really handsome."

A fourth follower wrote: "Really suits you. It takes years off your face.

Gogglebox star Ellie Warner commented: "Love it. Right now are you gonna wield your brolly at the paps," referencing Britney.

The video was recorded by his husband Daniel Lustig, who could be seen in the reflection of the mirror.

Gogglebox fans commented on Stephen's appearance on Friday's show and claimed he looked like the ITV soap character.

Many were stunned to see Stephen, who was joined by his spouse, with an unusual barnet.

The hairdresser was last seen with short sides and a quiff, which had a stylish streak of grey through.

Stephen is known for switching up his barnet and some suggested it made him look like the Weatherfield resident Ken, 80.

One Gogglebox viewer tweeted: "“When did Ken Barlow join #Gogglebox."

A second person wrote: "Stephen’s new hair makes him look like Ken Barlow."

While a third fan penned: "Is it me or has Stephen on Gogglebox got Ken Barlow's hair."

Stephen has been on the show ever since series one, but it was only last year he was joined by his husband.

The latest series of Gogglebox has now finished, with season 17 expected on Channel 4 later this year.
