The 55-year-old journalist made his comeback to the ITV show after two months off alongside Susanna Reid today, but many viewers were not thrilled about his comeback.
They took to Twitter, insisting they would "turn off" as Piers was back to his usual opinionated ways.
One said: "Do your bit for good in the world. Switch off #GMB and watch another show to starve bullying egomaniac Piers Morgan of ratings."
While another wrote: "I've not missed Piers Morgan on my telly in a morning #GMB."
"Saw Piers Morgan's face on the telly. day ruined", fumed a third.
Others were pleased to have Piers back on the show. One wrote: "I do like Piers Morgan. He talks more sense than the majority of our d**khead politicians."
While another penned: "Great to have Piers Morgan back on #GMB I've missed you sooo much... @piersmorgan."
Piers seemed thrilled to be back presenting alongside Susanna.
He began by sharing details of his family holiday in the South of France, telling viewers about how he was burgled while he and his wife slept.
Piers explained: "There were a bunch of thieves in the house. They were in the bedroom as we slept."
Morgan took to Twitter recently to slam to slam the government ministers for their said continued "boycott" of GMB.
Piers fumed to his 7.6m followers: "BREAKING: We're back - but the Govt boycott of @GMB is continuing. Tomorrow will be the 126th day since any minister appeared on our show.
"You might think this is pathetic. I couldn't possibly comment."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
