Hollyoaks viewers are convinced that Sid Sumner (Billy Price) has dug his own grave after he revealed that he reported his drug-dealing cousin Jordan Price (Connor Calland) to the police.
Fans of the Channel 4 soap were left reeling by Jordan's shock arrest on Monday as his drug plot took a brutal turn.
PC George Kiss caught up with a panicked Jordan and Leela Lomax who were planning on leaving the village.
After being threatened by big drug boss Victor, Jordan begged his secret girlfriend Leela to run away with him, telling her his life was in danger.
Tuesday's episode explored the fallout of Jordan's arrest and Sid revealed to Juliet Nightingale (Nimah Blackshaw) that he was the person who called the police on Jordan.
Viewers at home rushed to their keyboards to suggest that Sid's decision will have a deathly consequence.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "OMG Sid grassed Jordan!"
Another added: "Sid you little snitch. Good on yer."
A third predicted: "Sid is definitely getting killed for snitching. I'm convinced he's in the body bag."
A fourth posted: "What if Sid is the person in the body bag on New Year's Eve?"
"Yes Sid grassed on Jordan but there’s definitely more to it," added a fifth Hollyoaks viewer.
A worried Sid told Juliet that he "grassed" on Jordan because he's in love with her and wanted to keep protect her from his evil cousin.
At the end of the dramatic episode, drug boss Victor returned to the village and demanded that Sid and Juliet got into the back of his van.
Juliet and Sid panicked as an angry Victor was an on a mission to find out who grassed on Jordan.
Will Victor find out that Sid was behind Jordan's arrest?
Hollyoaks fans know that one resident will end up in a body bag over the festive period.
The soap had the nation talking at the beginning of the year when the show fast-forwarded an entire year with some sneaky clips into the future.
One of the biggest questions still on fans' lips is just who dies as John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) was seen wailing in despair beside a body bag.
It seems like viewers may have to wait a while to find out, with the scene not due to air until New Year’s Eve, but fans think Sid could be the one who meets a grisly end this December after betraying Jordan.
What will Jordan say when he finds out his own cousin reported him to the police?
Hollyoaks continues on Channel 4 at 6.30pm on Wednesday followed by a first look episode on E4 at 7pm
