TV duo Ant and Dec have revealed there is a "strong" line-up for this year's makeshift series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The Geordie pair are set to present the brand new series from Gwrych Castle in North Wales for the new series, instead of sunny Australia.

There were talks ITV bosses feared big celebrities would "turn down" the show after it was forced to relocate.

But Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have confirmed there is a line-up worth waiting for during a radio chat.

The hosts were talking about the relocation - as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic - on Steve and Karen's Breakfast Show.

He said there's "tonnes of castles up here" as Dec agreed and admitted they had considered The Holy Island of Lindisfarne.

Meanwhile, Ant explained the pair had recommended locations to ITV bosses for the new series, adding "we tried."

He commented: "We pitched a lot of castles, don't worry."

Steve said the location in Abergele "brings new life to the show."

On the new series, Ant revealed viewers shouldn't judge it until they see what producers have got in store.

Ant said: "There's real curiosity over what it's gonna be like, particularly for us."

He added: "We're used to it being one way, but let's just see what happens."
