Linda, 62, who is a proud nan, said she was at her local supermarket at the time of the attempted mugging and was with her daughter, Lauren, and grandchild, Lila.
Telling the story, she began: "Something terrible happened."
She then told the story of how she had been down her local market because her son was there.
Linda said on the show today: "I’d been down our local market. My son was doing a video for his new song and we all went down to watch him.
"Keeping our distance of obviously. After that I went to get some shopping.
"I was carrying two heavy bags of shopping and I had a backpack on me."
Going into the horror, she revealed: "All of a sudden I felt someone was tugging it."
The star recalled how she was nearly 'pulled over' by the force of the person tugging.
Linda continued: "It nearly pulled me over, it was caught around my ear as well so my ear was really hurting."
She informed viewers how she was made aware of what was really going on when she heard 'two couples start shouting'.
Linda went on: "He ran off and he’d tried to get my purse out of my backpack."
Wrapping her story, she explained what happened after. She said: "I was shaken up and Lauren and Lila was there so Lila was really upset.
"She said, 'Nanny’s almost got mugged'. They then went home and told Mark (Linda's husband) and Louis (her son) and everyone.
"They then went running up the market to see if they could find the person. My nerves were gone because I was like 'Oh my god I hope they don’t find them'.
"They never found him and I was ok luckily."
