Loose Women presenter Nadia Sawalha opened up about her marriage to husband Mark Adderley on the show today, as the panellists discussed their relationships.

Kaye Adams, Nadia, Carol McGiffin and Jane Moore discussed marrying their partners after airing a throwback clip of Carol saying she wouldn't have married her then husband Chris Evans if she knew she wouldn't be able to divorce him back in 2003.

When Kaye asked Nadia what she thought, she admitted that she and Mark wouldn't be together now if they hadn't got married and had their two daughters.

She said: "Mark and I would've been split up if we hadn't got married and had children.

"When it was difficult, I would've walked away many times, and he probably when I went into menopause considered walking away.

"But we made that commitment and I am so glad we did because now we have an incredible relationship, which at points, has been very difficult to get there.

"I would've been out."

"I can't believe I said that out loud back then, but I knew when I married my first husband that it wasn't gong to be forever, I knew that.

"I knew it wasn't quite right, so I just went along with it, weirdly, knowing I could get out of it, which is completely wrong.

"And then I did everything to try to keep it together and not have it end, but I couldn't stop it.

"But luckily it was allowed, but no I would still have married Mark 100%, because you just know."
