Piers Morgan has branded his Life Stories with Vinnie Jones, the "most emotional and heartbreaking" as the former footballer opened up about his late wife Tanya.
Vinnie broke down in tears during the interview as he discussed losing his beloved wife to cancer last year.
Taking to Twitter, the Good Morning Britain host wrote: "Now on ITV: The most emotional, heart-breaking Life Stories show ever with Vinnie Jones."
And viewers echoed Piers sentiments as Twitter was flooded with comments about the candid chat, with many admitting they were in tears within minutes.
One wrote: "It has been on roughly 3 seconds and I'm sobbing already. Absolutely love Mr Jones."
"Crying already. God bless you Vinnie Jones. What a beautiful soul you are," another added.
While a third put: "Respect to Vinnie Jones highlighting that men have emotions too and it’s ok not to be ok. Incredibly sad the way he lost his soul mate too."
Tanya and Vinnie met during their teenage years, reconnecting years later, and eventually marrying in Watford in 1994.
Last year, aged 53, Tanya lost her six-year battle with cancer, passing away at home in Los Angeles surrounded by her loved ones.
During the interview, Piers asked Vinnie what he misses most about his late partner.
"Just the trampoline of being there for me," he replied.
He continued: "Yeah, I’d let her down so many times, but she’d catch me. And it was so much, many times, I said to her once, ‘It was like catching a falling star.’ She never once, Piers, would not put her arms out and catch me, every time."
He explained that during the early stages of their his relationship, when asked Tanya what he wanted, he asked to simply be loved "unconditionally".
"I said, 'Just love me unconditionally,' and that was her promise," he stated.
