A Place In The Sun star Jasmine Harman has opened up about a cringeworthy situation which happened once while filming the programme.
The 44-year-old television host recalled the moment which happened a long time ago on the show's Home Or Away segment.
Jasmine revealed that one of the house hunters split up with his wife after they filmed the show, but didn't tell her.
She only found out when Jasmine announced they had broken up on the show.
The television star admitted that she "felt super awkward" about the drama which unfolded behind-the-scenes.
The host told Metro : "A really awkward moment came in the final chat when I said to them, 'Have you two managed to come to an agreement?' And she said, 'Well, I still want to be at home.'
"And he said, 'I still want to be away.' I said, 'So what are you gonna do?' And he said, 'Well, it's my money.' And that was super awkward.
"But then when our researcher followed up with them to sort of find out what had happened after we finished filming […] the gentleman said that they’d split up, and could our researcher help him to find an Italian girlfriend?
"Bear in mind this is a couple in their 70s."
Jasmine recalled that she felt incredible awkward as she spoke about the break up on television, and that's how the wife found out.
The presenter added: "Then it was broadcast and the next day, the woman phoned up the office and she said, 'We haven't split up, how dare you?!'
"So that was again super awkward, because he'd told us that they’d split up, but he hadn't told her."
Despite that incredible cringeworthy encounter, Jasmine insisted her job is "very rewarding".
The show not only helps house hunters find their happy endings with dream homes, it also helped Jasmine find her soulmate as she married camera operator Jon Boast.
She explained to the publication: "It's really nostalgic looking back at when we first met and the places that we've been and the things we used to do and the fun we used to have before we had kids. Our family has grown all around A Place In The Sun.
"We met each other, we got together, we bought a flat, we got married, we've had two children, both of our children's godparents are people we worked with, who we met through A Place In The Sun. So it's like a family, really."
