The 43-year-old journalist shot down her co-star Piers Morgan who asked her: "Are you looking forward to the curse?"
Ranvir denied being excited about the dreaded curse, but added while laughing: "Well I am single."
Entertainment reporter Richard Arnold broke the news to viewers on the show, and Ranvir gushed she was "thrilled" to be on the 2020 lineup.
The show then revealed the news and an explosion of firework sparklers surrounded Ranvir as she beamed towards the camera.
Piers asked her: "Have you danced?", to which Ranvir replied: "Only at weddings."
She continued: "'I'm very thrilled to be on it."
Referring to her early starts on Good Morning Britain, she continued: "I'm worried about the sleep deprivation, I'm worried about energy levels."
Ranvir revealed she's glad she'll be having plenty of coronavirus tests while on the BBC show in a bid to stay safe post lockdown.
She explained: "I don't know how it's going to work for me. The dancers are already isolating."
The ITV star mentioned how the dancers and celebrities usually dance all together before being assigned a parter.
She said: "Don't they normally do this thing where they do the chemistry test? That's not in my schedule so I don't think they're doing that."
Fans were thrilled to hear Ranvir's exciting news, and rushed to Twitter to show her support and love.
One said: "Aww Good luck @ranvir01 you'll be great!"
While another penned: "Many congratulations to @ranvir01. I can't wait to see this."
"Ranvir will be FAB! She comes across as someone who gives it her all, so I think she'll do well. Can imagine she will look amazing in all those glitzy dresses too. Good luck Ranvir", gushed a third.
