Last year's Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin Fletcher will once again put on his dancing shoes as part of the show's upcoming launch episode.
Kelvin will perform a routine alongside his former partner, Oti Mabuse, during Saturday's episode - but the pair will be adhering to the two-metre social distancing guidelines.
Despite isolating in their own bubbles, Oti and Kelvin will not be able to get as close to one another to ensure Oti does not catch the coronavirus and then pass it on to her celebrity pairing.
Bosses at the BBC are said to be "super-strict" this year to ensure that the glittering dancing competition goes ahead.
Speaking to The Sun, an insider said: "Kelvin and Oti can’t get anywhere near as close as they are used to because of the danger of infection, which would throw a huge spanner in the works.
"But viewers will be intrigued to see how it will work."
The insider went on to say that the creative team who work behind the scenes have "all sorts of tricks up their sleeve."
"These include potentially using a perspex screen between the dancers, as on some of Strictly's counterparts in other countries," they added.
In line with the government coronavirus legislation, those on the show will be isolated in a bubble together to ensure that the risk of contamination is low.
While judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and head judge Shirley Ballas will all sit at individual, socially-distanced desks.
Strictly had been thrown into jeopardy earlier this month when contestant and singer and television presenter, HRVY, revealed he had tested positive for coronavirus.
He has since tested negative and will be performing in the launch episode.
This year, fewer celebrities will take to the dancefloor with the show running for nine weeks.
Sadly for fans, the famous Blackpool week which sees hopefuls dance in the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom has also been axed.
Exec producer Sarah James told Daily Star Online: "Obviously we won't be able to go to Blackpool this year, unfortunately, but we will be doing a special celebration of Blackpool in one of our shows."
Daily Star Online has approached Strictly Come Dancing for comment.
Strictly returns to screens this Saturday on BBC One.
