Susan Boyle is said to be interested in taking part in a cameo appearance in Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
The Scottish superstar first appeared on Britain's Got Talent back in 2008 and went on to become an instant household name after leaving audiences around the world in awe of her magical voice.
Susan 59, has also appeared on America's Got Talent: The Champions.
Now, her rise to fame has been complemented during an episode of hit US comedy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Viewers quickly pointed out that Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) made a subtle reference to his "cousin Susan" who "didn't know she could sing until her late 40s."
Susan was 48 when she auditioned for Britain's Got Talent.
Shortly after the joke was aired, viewers instantly took to social media after putting two and two together.
"Feel like this amazing joke went over too many people’s head when they first watched it," said one Reddit user.
While a second added: "Oh, I never made this connection, I always assumed it was just another weird Charles-ism."
"I kinda want Susan Boyle to cameo on the show now," begged a third.
It seems as though fans prayers have been answered after Susan herself is aware of the link between her and the show.
A source close to the star told Metro: "Susan didn't notice the mention at first, either, but when it clicked, she was absolutely thrilled."
They added: "She'd love to do a cameo if she was ever offered the opportunity."
It's believed that Brooklyn Nine-Nine will commence production on season eight in the near future, while Susan is gearing up for a return to Britain's Got Talent for its Christmas special episode.
During the coronavirus, lockdown period entertained fans as she made her TikTok debut.
While enjoying the summer sunshine, the Wild Horses singer danced with two friends to Jason Derulo's hit single Savage Love.
